The ATEX Waterproof Case IP65 for 2 x 1200mm T8 LED tubes is designed to provide a higher level of illumination in industrial environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. It complies with ATEX and RoHS regulations and is suitable for use in zones 1 and 2 (gases) and zones 21 and 22 (dust), where reliable lighting solutions and greater light coverage are required.
The luminaire features a waterproof design with an IP65 protection rating, which guarantees resistance to dust and water jets, allowing for both indoor and outdoor installation. It is made of ABS + PS, with a polycarbonate screen and protective grid, and incorporates WF2 anti-corrosion treatment, suitable for demanding industrial environments.
The case is designed to house two 120cm T8 LED tubes (tubes not included) and is exclusively compatible with double-ended connection tubes. It operates with a voltage of 180–240 V AC and is prepared to operate in a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C.
For optimal performance and better thermal dissipation, the use of aluminum T8 LED tubes is recommended; the use of polycarbonate tubes is not advisable.
It incorporates a metal support for surface installation, facilitating a stable and safe mounting according to ATEX requirements.
The product has a 5-year warranty and RoHS certification.
