The ATEX 16A 4-pole metal switch is designed for the safe control of electrical circuits in industrial environments with a risk of explosive atmospheres.
It allows use in Zones 1 and 2 (gases) and Zones 21 and 22 (dust), making it suitable for installations where working with equipment certified for potentially explosive atmospheres is necessary.
Ideal for use in factories, warehouses, workshops, industrial buildings, paint booths, vessels, gas stations, and areas with potentially explosive atmospheres in general.
This ATEX switch is four-pole (tetrapolar) and allows the connection and disconnection of electrical circuits through cam operation with a 0-I position. It supports a maximum load of 16A and 250V, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
The switch body is made of copper-free aluminum, a material used in equipment destined for demanding industrial settings. Its robust design provides strength and durability in installations where adverse environmental conditions may exist.
The IP66 protection rating protects the equipment against the ingress of dust and water. Additionally, it can operate in a temperature range from -55°C to +60°C, allowing its use in industrial environments with demanding thermal conditions.
The ATEX tetrapolar switch is designed for surface installation and features two M25 x 1.5 threaded entries for connection via ATEX cable glands (not included). One of the entries is supplied closed with a hexagonal plug.
To complete the installation, ATEX M25 cable glands must be purchased for the entries to be used.
The product comes with a 5-year warranty and ATEX, CE, and RoHS certifications.
