Product details

The ATEX metal cable gland NPT 1/2” IP66 is designed to ensure the safe entry of cables into luminaires, junction boxes and electrical equipment installed in industrial environments with risk of explosive atmospheres.

Made of nickel-plated brass, it combines high mechanical strength with excellent corrosion protection, making it suitable for demanding industrial installations. It incorporates a rubber O-ring that reinforces the sealing of the assembly and helps maintain its IP66 protection rating, preventing the ingress of dust, moisture and external agents.

Secure connection in ATEX zones

This cable gland is designed for use in installations located in Zones 1 and 2 (gases) and Zones 21 and 22 (combustible dust). Its NPT 1/2” thread allows a firm and secure fixing to electrical equipment, ensuring a reliable cable connection. Designed to work with cables with an outer diameter between 9 mm and 16 mm.

It is particularly suitable for use with armored cables, providing a tight and secure connection.

Robust construction for industrial environments

Its nickel-plated brass structure provides high resistance to impacts, vibrations and corrosive environments. It is designed to operate reliably in demanding industrial installations such as factories, warehouses, chemical plants, refineries or energy facilities.
