Description
The ATEX IP66 industrial motion sensor is designed to automate the switching on of luminaires in industrial environments with a risk of explosive atmospheres. Thanks to its high-frequency radar detection system, it activates lighting only when presence is detected, optimizing energy consumption and improving safety in critical installations.
Made of durable aluminum with a reinforced glass lens, it offers a robust structure prepared for demanding industrial conditions. Its IP66 protection rating guarantees dust-tight sealing and resistance to powerful water jets, allowing use in demanding industrial environments.
This sensor is suitable for installations located in Zones 1 and 2 (gases) and Zones 21 and 22 (combustible dust).Automatic detection and energy efficiency
The ATEX sensor incorporates high-frequency radar technology (5.8 GHz), capable of detecting even slight movements with great precision. It can be installed on walls or ceilings, offering a detection angle of up to 150° on walls or 360° on ceilings, with a maximum installation height of 12 meters.
Its control system allows management of resistive loads up to 800W and inductive loads (LED lighting) up to 400W, making it an efficient solution for automating industrial luminaires and reducing electricity consumption.
Robust construction for industrial environments
The aluminum housing with grounding terminal and reinforced glass cover provide high mechanical resistance and excellent protection against corrosion. The electrostatic powder coating finish increases the durability of the equipment even in aggressive environments.
The ATEX motion detector operates at temperatures between -40°C and +60°C and offers a detection range of up to 16 meters in diameter, making it suitable for factories, warehouses, industrial buildings, workshops, paint booths, gas stations or vessels.
