Description
The ATEX Waterproof Fixture for 1 x 1200mm T8 LED tube IP65 is designed for the safe installation of LED lighting in industrial environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. It complies with ATEX regulations and is suitable for use in zones 1 and 2 (gases) and zones 21 and 22 (dust), providing safe and reliable operation in critical installations.
Waterproof design and durable materials
The luminaire features a sealed design with an IP65 protection rating, ensuring high resistance to dust and water jets, allowing installation both indoors and outdoors. It is made of aluminum and polycarbonate, with a tempered glass screen and protective grille, and includes WF2 anti-corrosion treatment, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Technical features and installation
The fixture is designed to house one 18W T8 LED tube of 120 cm (tube not included). For optimal performance, the use of aluminum T8 LED tubes is recommended; polycarbonate tubes are not advised.
It operates at a voltage of 180–240 V AC and is prepared to function in a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C.
It includes a metal bracket for surface mounting, ensuring stable installation in compliance with ATEX safety requirements.
