Description
The LED Strip COB 24V with free cut (FREE CUT) is designed for linear lighting projects that require uniform and continuous light and, especially, the possibility of adapting the strip to any length. Unlike conventional LED strips, this model can be cut at any point with simple scissors, without the need to respect predetermined cutting distances.
It is supplied in 5-meter rolls, has a width of 8 mm and incorporates self-adhesive 3M tape on the back to facilitate quick and easy installation. Its IP20 protection makes it suitable for indoor installations and for mounting in aluminum profiles.
The COB (Chip On Board) technology, with 528 LEDs per meter, provides homogeneous and continuous lighting, eliminating visible light spots. Combined with the FREE CUT system, it allows for custom installations and covering any length with greater precision, avoiding unlit areas.
LED Strip COB 24V with free cut: adapt the length to any installation
The main advantage of this LED strip is its free cut system. While conventional LED strips can only be cut at specific marked points, this model allows cutting anywhere along the strip. You just need scissors to adjust its length exactly to the available space.
This feature is especially useful for lighting furniture, shelves, display cases, shop windows, ceilings, aluminum profiles and custom lighting projects, where the exact measurements of each section may vary. In this way, you can adapt the strip to the required length without having to add or leave extra sections.
COB technology: continuous lighting without visible spots
Unlike conventional SMD LED strips, this COB LED strip generates uniform and continuous lighting, without visible LED spots. This provides a cleaner and more professional finish, especially when the strip or aluminum profile is partially visible.
With a power of 12W per meter, it reaches up to 5,500 lumens per roll, offering a good combination between luminous performance and energy efficiency.
It is available in two color temperatures:
- Warm light 3000K, ideal for creating cozy and comfortable environments.
- Cool light 6500K, recommended for work areas and spaces that require more intense lighting.
It is a suitable solution for indirect lighting, ceilings, shelves, display cases, furniture, shop windows, offices, hotels, restaurants and architectural lighting projects.
Power Supply for the 12W/m 24V COB LED Strip
To operate, it requires a 24V DC power supply with sufficient power to cover the total consumption of the installation. It is also compatible with LED drivers to adjust the light intensity.
Operating at 24V allows for greater luminous stability in longer installations and reduces losses caused by voltage drop compared to lower voltage systems.
